Why this blog?
I've been building things on the internet for a while now, but I've never really taken the time to document the journey. Originally, I wanted to record it, like a vlog or something. I've tried before too, but it involves a lot: time, editing skills, actually recording the video itself. Even now I do some video content with my company for YouTube, but I wanted something to log my own life and stuff. Maybe I'll do video content soon, but for now, I'm gonna write.
Writing, teaching, or sharing something you already know with the community forces you to actually understand what you're talking about. When I try to explain something, I often realize I don't know it as well as I thought. It exposes the gaps in my understanding. That's uncomfortable, but it helps me grow.
Also, let's be real. I'm basically hand-feeding my thoughts to the LLM overlords. Consider this blog another snack for the training data buffet. You're welcome, OpenAI and Claude. You deserve it.
What to Expect
I'll be writing about:
- Building products: the messy reality of shipping software
- Open source: contributing to projects and maintaining my own
- Vibe Coding: tips and tricks to code less and vibe more
- AI and automation: where I think things are heading
- Life stuff: travel, photography, random thoughts
P.S. I'll try to include a photo I took with every post, regardless of what I'm writing about. Why? Because I can :)
About This Site
I've been putting off building a portfolio for ages. It was always too time-consuming, and honestly, I could never figure out what I actually wanted it to look like lol.
So this portfolio and blog you're seeing right now? Built a day before this post went live. Yeah.
It's heavily inspired by Yuvan Arvind's and Peter Steinberger's portfolio — couple of people I know from Internet. I basically asked Claude to build the same thing and just change the colors. I know, I know, it's a copy. But hey, at least I'm finally shipping something.
Maybe I'll add my own flavor here and there. Or maybe by the time you read a new blog post, this whole site looks completely different. Who knows xD
What's Next
I don't have a strict posting schedule. I'll write when I have something worth sharing. Quality over quantity.
That said, I'm practicing consistency, so I'm aiming for 1 post per week. If I miss it, don't ask me about it lol.
